Frequently Asked Questions
How Bake Drops Work
A Bake Drop is a pre-order sale available only on specific dates and in limited quantities. Once the items sell out, that’s it until the next drop — so sign up early to reserve your favorites before they’re gone!
What Products Do You Offer?
I’m a tiny, in-home bake shop offering small-batch, pre-order treats on select dates announced in my Bake Drop Calendar. Each bake features a limited quantity of seasonal, handcrafted goods — from artisan breads to scones, muffins, cookies, and more. The menu changes with the seasons and whatever inspires me in the kitchen.
Custom orders are also available for the items listed on the Products page.
Email me to discuss details — a minimum order is required.
How Do Pickups Work?
On your pickup day, your items will be bagged and ready at the location and time you selected. Simply stop by, pick up, and enjoy your fresh bakes! Pick Up Location: Kim’s home afternoon & a location in Campbell morning.
Do You Deliver?
I only deliver custom orders with a $70 minimum order and within 10 miles of zip code 95123.
Do You Ship?
Unfortunately, I do not ship at this time.
What Payments Are Accepted?
All payment must be made prior to pick up. I accept Zelle , Venmo and cash.
What Is Your Refund Policy?
Everything I make is crafted with care and love — your satisfaction means the world to me.
No refunds or returns are accepted if a customer changes their mind, cancels after the Bake Drop cutoff, or fails to pick up their order.
Unclaimed baked items will not be stored and will be donated at the end of the day.
Do You Offer Gluten-Free Items?
Not at this time. I occasionally bake using alternative flours, but please note these items are not certified gluten-free, as they’re made in a kitchen that processes wheat.
How Do I Keep My Sourdough Fresh?
Never refrigerate sourdough — it stales quickly there!
The crust prefers to breathe and will stay crisp and happy in open air for 24–36 hours. Slice only as needed. After cutting into it, store your loaf in a cotton tea towel, bread box, or a loosely sealed plastic bag on the counter.
To freeze: Wrap tightly in plastic wrap, then a freezer bag, or slice and freeze in a resealable bag. Thaw at room temperature on a wire rack. It will taste as fresh as the day you froze it.

What Is a “Cottage Food Operation” (CFO)?
In California, a Cottage Food Operation allows a baker to prepare certain baked goods and confectionery items in their home kitchen and sell them directly to consumers — without needing a commercial food establishment license or inspection from the California Department of Agriculture.
Pets may be present in the residence, but not in the food preparation area. All products must be made in a clean, healthful, and sanitary environment. These products are homemade and not prepared in an inspected food establishment.
